Meet the Committee

All our committees are made up of volunteers who are passionate about the Polegate Community Centre. They work hard to ensure that the Centre continues to provide much needed community services and spaces for local residents.

These are our Executive Committee members as elected at the AGM on 20th May 2026.

CHAIRPERSON

Pat Payne

My working life I was involved with admin in the main with Social Services, and Housing for a Local Authority.  I then became manager of the Housing Benefit section again with a Local Authority and then went on to become involved with Benefit Fraud. 

As you can see I have always been involved with helping people and that is what I hope I still do by working voluntarily for the local community.

I moved to Polegate in May 2001 having  been involved within the entertainment industry for most of my working life .

Since becoming a resident of Polegate  I have involved myself in various local clubs, also attended many varied events at our community centre.
