Polegate Sketching and Painting Group

This is a Group is has been run by the members for the benefit of the members since the 1990’s.

Meeting on Tuesday mornings in the Centre’s Lounge, 9.30am – 12pm, the Group is very fortunate to enjoy professional leadership from Roz Nathan.

Roz was trained in wildlife illustration in West Wales, worked with British wildlife parks, zoos and charities including the RSPCA, Whipsnade, Howletts and Port Lympe. Members enjoy hands-on learning techniques and methods of art production under her involving good humour.

From time-to-time, exhibitions of work by the members at the Centre, and outings together to experience art, have been arranged.

Because there is no local authority or other organisation in the background, members pay a monthly fee which they consider to be very reasonable.

Our next Coffee Morning is on Saturday 3rd OCTOBER 2026 -10am – 12pm, come along and see what we do at our fantastic art exhibition while enjoying a coffee and slice of cake.
